About Veronica Thomas, Ph.D.
Veronica Thomas, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist in Woodland Hills and Northridge, California. She has been in practice since 1978. Covering a broad range of issues, Dr. Thomas treats couples, adults, adolescents and children. Children are seen only at her Woodland Hills Office. Her orientation to counseling is psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and experiential.
She is cofounder of Child Development Institute. She supervises mental health interns and licensed professionals. Dr. Thomas has taught courses in adult romantic love, attachment theory and research, the psychological impact of divorce, parenting, child development, couples communication, assertiveness communication and overcoming shyness.
